Glamourpuss, who had brought live tablas and saxophone with them to play along to what we had hoped would be some disco and funk tunes, but in fact turned out to be reggae, Gary Glitter and some cowboy records.

Oh well.

The next week we were visited by some actor bloke from Eastenders and Chris McCormack from 3 Colours Red. Blimey, star studded no less.

The press were starting to come round, TNT did a half page feature on us using a photo which we had taken in our bathroom, and TimeOut let me write a whole page feature on our club, which was totally unheard of, for a club promoter to double up as a freelance journalist.
